We are delighted to announce that for the third consequent year, Hankook Tire America Corp. (“Hankook”)  has been named, among three other tire major manufacturers, General Motors’ supplier of the year 2018. General Motors (“GM”) has recognised 133 suppliers in total which were announced during the 27th Annual Supplier of the Year Awards Ceremony and received the award for exceeding GM’s requirements by providing the highest quality of products and services.

The awarded suppliers come from 15 countries overall and were selected by GM’s executives specialising in a range of sectors, such as purchasing, engineering, quality control, manufacturing and logistics.

Steve Kiefer, GM senior vice president, Global Purchasing and Supply Chain, said: “We hold our suppliers to a high bar. They went above and beyond to deliver the innovations and quality that will help us earn customers for life.”. Hyunjun Cho, head of Hankook Tire OE Division, said: “We value our partnership with GM and believe this award three years in a row is a testament to our strong partnership and continued growth together.”
